Apps that actually help students with dyslexia.

<p>About 20% of Americans are faced with Dyslexia, the language-based disorder that makes reading, spelling and decoding especially difficult. Historically, Dyslexic students can find keeping up with their peers difficult, but thanks to a plethora of new apps, falling behind may become a thing of the past. “vBookz” reads text aloud (in 16 languages) and has a special font called Dyslexie that’s easier for dyslexics to read. “SoundLiteracy” teaches dyslexics how to process word sounds and presents spelling strategies. “ModMath” allows users to type math problems instead of writing them by hand, which can prove difficult for people with dyslexia or dysgraphia (not being able to write coherently), and “Inspiration Maps” allow students to build organized diagrams and outlines. Learn more.
