Buy a PC and plant a tree

During the Consumer Electronic Show held in Las Vegas, Michael S. Dell, chairman of the eponymous computer company he founded, announced that his company is worried about the production impact of electronic devices on the environment.  Now every time customers buy a DELL notebook or desktop PC, Dell donates $2 or $6 (according to the product) towards the purchase and planting of trees that may offset carbon emissions.
