How People A Century Ago Imagined We’d Dress Today

It’s hard to imagine a world without flapper dresses, poodle skirts or denim jackets. However, Strand Magazine’s 1893 issue had a different plan for the future of fashion. Published by W. Cade Gall, the issue included some funky duds that look more like Broadway costumes than something you’d wear around the office. Sorry Mr. Gall, wherever you are, but we’re happy with how fashion turned out!
