The Jetsons television series is coming to life thanks to Israel Aerospace Industries. They’re planning to have two person vehicles that work on elevated magnetic tracks up and running by the end of 2015. This technology may come to other countries, including the United States, depending on how successful the Israel pilot is. “Skytran” could revolutionize public transportation by allowing passengers to “order” a vehicle from their smart phone, alleviating congested roads.
