We were always fascinated by the saying: “If you want something done, give it to a busy person”. Well, according to Sendhil Mullainathan’s article in last week’s Time Magazine’s Ideas section. It’s not time we have to worry about managing, it’s our bandwidth. By bandwidth, Sendhil is talking about the necessary focus, concentration and effort a task takes. If you are faced with a task that requires a lot of bandwidth, be sure to tackle it when you can give a lot of bandwidth to it, say a quiet time in the morning.
