Swear Like A Mother

May 10, 2017

Moms are real-life superheroes, rock stars, the most amazing people, but certainly not perfect. Some moms may even say it is their imperfections that make them better moms. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, a brand that has marketed itself on being a parent’s best friend, has come up with an excellent new campaign, that while staying loyal to their brand, makes their brand a little hipper. The company partnered up with Melissa Mohr, author of Holy Sh*t: A Brief History of Swearing, to reach the millennial (everyday) parent. “The reality is that millennial parents today really don’t believe that there is such a thing as perfect parenting, and they are the first to admit it. As we built on that, the role that Kraft Mac & Cheese plays in that is the one thing that no matter what, we can deliver a win for parents because it’s the taste kids love, and we can make it right,” Rachel Drof, Marketing Director for the brand said. 74% of moms admitted out of 1,000 millennial parents that they have dropped the f-bomb in front of their kids, but who cares?! What better way to celebrate moms than to celebrate the perfect, beautiful, honest side of motherhood? Kraft even went as far to create ‘fail-canceling earplugs’ for children to use when moms are having their moment. Kraft’s Mother’s Day campaign not only hits its target audience impeccably, the brand delivers a campaign that is extremely relatable and funny! It’s the perfect storm of a moment.
