After a year of adjusting to hybrid or fully remote classes, America’s teachers have proven themselves to be the underdogs of the pandemic. So, restaurants across the country are making this year’s Teachers Appreciation Week particularly special by offering free food and discounts. Food chains such as Jimmy John’s, Sonic, McAlister’s Deli, Buffalo Wild Wings, and brands like Angry Orchard, are expressing their gratitude to teachers by offering free meals, giftcards, and discount codes. Many of these offers are also applicable to nurses.
A new normal of teaching and learning has surfaced since the pandemic, and teachers have played a pivotal role in making this new format accessible to students across the country. In a time period when education is especially vital, teachers deserve extra appreciation for their help and hard work!
