How does an iconic motorcycle brand embrace green without losing its cool? Very carefully. When looking to launch their new electric cycle, Harley-Davidson chose not to drop “Project LiveWire” into the general market, but rather they offered select customers the chance to try it out first. This unique pre-launch strategy is taking place this summer through 30 Harley dealerships along (where else) Route 66.This strategy is sure to generate lots of conversation on social media – conversation that Harley is hoping will open the most purist of enthusiasts to this new model.
