The Real Skinny on “Health” Food

Memorial Day, the official kickoff to summer, is just one week away and many of us at milk* have made preemptive dietary strikes to get our bods beach-ready. In the middle of switching from kale to juicing, we found “The 10 Biggest Health Food Misconceptions” from Mashable and nearly dropped the blender. Who knew our innocent looking flavored yogurts, granola mixes and vitamin waters were hiding tons of sugar? Who imagined restaurant chicken (loaded with butter and oils) could come in at around 1,250 calories?
