According to a February 2013 survey in Megapost, 77% of travelers took their smartphones on vacation with them. 75% checked emails, and 39% posted photos/checked in with social media. 68% used their digital devices to get directions and 45% used them to find restaurants. The vast majority of us are using technology to maximize our vacations in ways never before possible. Besides, how else could we check the weather? By looking out the window?
