A Perspective Shift on the Millennial/Boomer Divide.

We’re taking this piece with a grain of salt, but because our news feeds are jammed with articles about how Millennials think and work, it was refreshing to find this twist in the LA Times designed to help Millennials deal with Boomers with their technophobia and fragile egos. Amy Schumer’s video of she and her mother working through computer issues with a therapist brilliantly captures the emotions Millennials (or anyone tech-savvy) feel when helping technoklutzes. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a must see. But we digress. The LA Times offers suggestions for dealing with Boomer been-there-done-that attitudes, (hopefully very slight) sexism and “I have children your age!” comments. Certainly no one fits into a generation box, but stereotypes do come from somewhere. Read more.
