Virtual Reality (VR) is in the air. Recently Sony announced the release date for its new PlayStation VR, Google announced its new VR headset, and Apple — funny you should ask. Pocketnew, a Taiwan based website claims to have gotten ahold of Apple’s latest iPhone 7’s camera and they say it’s clear Apple is perusing VR. Pocketnew reported that the camera could potentially allow the iPhone 7 to scan real-world objects into a virtual world or, by using the depth-sensing capabilities, it could drop your selfie into augmented reality applications.
