When Art and City Collide

When you think of the city Berlin, you automatically think of the Berlin Wall. It divided the German population for 28 years before being torn down in November of 1989. It’s always inspired controversy and has attracted countless artists eager to respond, to its symbolic meanings. It’s no wonder that over 300 art galleries have crammed their way into the walls former enclosure. Between The 7th and 9th of November an art installation of 8,000 balloons will mark the former wall’s location marking the 25th anniversary of it’s destruction. CNN has put together a list of go-to spots that people can visit the wall and their fix of art and history.
